Flagstaff is also home to Northern Arizona University and Coconino Community College.
With four distinct seasons, and fresh mountain air, Flagstaff boasts year-round activities. From skiing and snowboarding at the local Arizona Snowbowl Ski Resort, to mountain biking, hiking, camping, fishing, and GOLFING, youÂ’ll find it all in Flagstaff. There are museums, the symphony, Grand Canyon Railway, and Lowell Observatory, along with parks, aquatic and recreation centers, an ice rink, and much, much more. Winter snows melt into Spring, which gives way to mild summers (avg. daytime summer temp is 82 degrees). A crisp Fall, with the Aspen trees displaying their full range of autumn colors, is a sight to behold. See website at http://www.postlets.com/res/2002998. |
