Pickwick Lake area cabin....Cabin is 1.5 miles from Pickwick Lake and Bruton Branch State Park and boat ramp. This 450 square foot cabin was professionaly built in 1994, all electric,one bedroon ,one bath, kitchen living room combination. Wall air unit is two years old, hot water heater 3yrs old. Has it's own water well. Cabin sets on paved dead end road,almost a full arce [.088 ] with lots of oak trees with deer and turkey.Has deck half way around cabin. Utilites were $87 last month, and we were here allmonth. Cabin sets in the shade most of day. The area is mostly all retired folks and very quiet and peacefull. At night you can here the river barges going up stream on the Tennesse River.Pickwick Lake is a great recreation area for boating, sking, sailing, and fishing. Pickwick Lake is known as The Catfish Capital Of The World, also known for it's smallmouth bass, large stripped bass, crappie and sauger. Counce, Tn. is about 9 miles across the dam, and Savannah, Tn. is about 15 miles north.Savannah has a very nice hospital, with Walmart and all the amenites needed.This is a great get away cabin for anybodywho likes peace and quiet, and some great fishing and boating and sking activities.Also Shiloh National Park is 5 miles down river to enjoy for the Civil War History buffs.Also some great metal detecting around Shiloh Park.There is also great Indian arrow head hunting along the banks of the Tennessee River.
