The entire addition is covered with maple, laminate flooring which closely matches the cabinetry. Have I mentioned cabinetry? There is mega space of cabinets, more than you can imagine. All appliances are less than 18 months old and are black. The applicances include a double oven, cooktop with microwave and dish washer. The double sink is also black with a very nice faucet and hidden flourescent light over the sink. There is also a tubular sky light centered over the bar which will provide adequate light during the daytime hours. The lighting in the kitchen consists of can lights throughout with 2 pendulum lights over the bar. Upon completion of the addition, the entire original home was completely remodeled. Many new walls were added and old ones removed. New floor coverings were installed throughout the entire home. Though the original space is 10 years old, this is now a brand new home throughout. The heating is propane, the water heaters are electric and the dryer hookup is available for both propane and electric. The remodeled floor plan is included as a picture. A 2-car garage sits on the east end of the home with dimensions of 24 X 28. The ceiling height is 9 feet. There is an efficiency apartment over the garage which contains a bathroom and small kitchenette. This room has never been rented, but has occasionally been used for company needing a place to spend the night. There is a hickory hard wood floor in the room and it has its own central air conditioning and heating system. The stairs to the apartment enter from the back. With its separate entrance, this makes a perfect guest house or place for that son or daughter than really should have moved out long ago! This space increases the total living space to nearly 4,000 square feet. A 12 X 16 out building sits behind the garage and house and is presently being used as a chicken house for our son's 4-H project. One half of the space is covered storage. The reason for the sale is job change and need to relocate. This home was expanded and remodeled through the work of the owner (me) and my father. No shortcuts were taken and at every decision point, quality was chosen. Our family had every belief that we would continue to raise our 4 children in this home and perhaps never leave. We considered selling our home before investing so much in it and perhaps that would have been the most financially sound decision. However, we absolutely loved the location. We have invested in excess of $120,000 in the addition and remodeling. The original square footage is a manufactured home.
