Designer furniture, draperies and accessories and a gas log fireplace complete the room.The condo sleeps up to 4 in beds (1 king, 2 twin beds). All have feather bed toppers and down pillows and comforters. Both bedrooms have 26" wall mounted flat panel HDTVs and Bose CD/radios. All bedding is 600+ thread-count. Master has ceiling fan, reading nook, large windows to enjoy the fabulous view and a telescope to take in the stars at night. There are two twin air mattresses in case you need to sleep more.Other amenities include: private porch deck with rockers, new front loading Whirlpool Duet washer & dryer, multi-zone surround sound stereo/cd player. Plenty of windows to enjoy the cool mountaintop breeze and unbelievable views.Bed linens are provided for each bed. Two sets of bath linens provided for each person. Basics such as paper towels, toilet paper, dish cloths, aluminum foil, detergent, cleaners, vacuum, iron, garbage bags, etc as well as some refrigerator condiments are provided.In the spring, summer and fall, enjoy the local hiking trails, area waterfalls, and trout fishing in many lakes and streams around. Several of the High Country's best golf courses are just minutes away. Many folks also enjoy white water rafting and kayaking as well as the new Zip-line adventures. Local attractions include Tweetsie Railroad theme park, Grandfather Mountain, downtown Boone & Blowing Rock, Linville Falls & Caverns, Mast General Store, Banner Elk Winery, etc.In the ski season, you can walk 1/2 mile to the Ski Beech slopes (Shawneehaw run) or drive less than 3 miles to the entrance of the resort. Sugar Mountain ski resort is a 10 minute drive door to door. Hawksnest snow tubing is approx 15 minutes away. You can see slopes of all three resorts from the condo. We are definitely in the heart of NC ski country.And anytime of the year, walk 1/2 mile to downtown Beech Mountain, Fred's General Mercantile, Sweets of Beech coffee shop, Brick Oven Pizza & Vasarely's restaurants, etc. And it's less than a 4 mile drive to downtown Banner Elk for some of the best dining, shopping, and cultural activities in the High Country. |
