Pier Park, which is a hundred new shops and restaurants, is a quick drive down back beach. Pier Park is so succesfull that our tax revenues and employment rates have both gone up in this recession. The studio which was added on and has all the permits was "stick built" as a hurricane room. The foundation is concrete and the body of the building is secured with ten hurricance straps that go into the soil. Also hurricane straps were used from the floor structure to and inculding the roof structure. The two layers of exterior siding are overlapping and tie back to the foundation. The studio is connected by a covered deck. The front porch is covered and features a personal jacuzzi. This whirpool bath is wonderful year round. Artist touches are everywhere. The floors feature new laminate and carpet flooring but the walls feature art. The cabinetd oor and all the door themselves are have artistic accents on both sides. There is a laundry room featuring a washer and dryer. The lawn service provided by the association maintains the lawns and sprinkler systems year long. Residents are free to travel without being concerned about the lawns or landscaping. Our sprikler system is fed by a new deep water well owned by the association. We also employ professioanl management, accounting and tax assistance and legal representation. The association provides as much or as little activity as you determine right for you. There are holiday events, breakfasts, cook outs, game nights, off site events and trips for those who wish to participate. The club house is your private club house for any events you wish to schedule. The $25 cleaning fee is waived if you clean up after yourself. We also have pool exercise classes and seasonal events. The carport is situated so that it is possible to stay dry when entering or leaving the car during thunderstorms. The association also provides an RV lot for members at $10 per month.
