The Department of Economic Development announced on Sept. 28, 2004 that the City of Loup City was awarded a $196,000 Community Development Block Grant for an Owner Occupied Housing Rehabilitation Project. The grant will be utilized by eligible homeowners residing within the corporate limits of the City of Loup City. The goal of the grant project is to rehabilitate 10 homes of individuals at or below 80 per cent of median income living in the City. The project will have a completion date of August 2006.
