"Paradise on the Pecos" This is New Mexico's best kept secret. The sparkling blue lake with a rocky shoreline and the gently rolling hillsides of juniper is a refreshing change from the flat grasslands of eastern New Mexico. The 4,500 acre lake offers fishing for a variety of species including bass, crappie, catfish and walleye and is a winter haven for waterfowl. Wildlife is abundant: on our property we see deer, rabbit, kit fox, raccoon, wild turkey, quail and several species of songbirds. The lake is good for boating, water skiing, jet skis and swimming. This property is located in a small lake community. Our property has water on 3 sides and there is only one other house on the peninsula. The view from the upstairs bedroom is beautiful in all directions. There also is a balcony that over looks part of the lake, a nice place to sit and enjoy the outdoors and the view. A large enclosed sun porch faces the lake and a patio where you can sit and look at the beautiful scenery and wildlife are some of the many highlights of this property. Furniture is included, except for a few things, so all you have to do is bring your personal items and start enjoying your new life. This is a perfect place to live full time or a great get away for the weekend and vacations.
