| Description: |
This home is a 16 year old ranch home built in a charming older neightborhood.
There are many custom features and much of the home has wood (some
floors, walls, & even some of the ceilings). The front of the
home is nestled in trees.    Although there are 5 BR's (this is a big home); only 2 of the BR's are on the main level.Â
They are both very spacious with patio doors leading to private decks.
one is a guest room with a private bath; the other is the master.Â
The master has some custom cabinets, a retreat which overlooks the
gardens and has a gas fireplace. There is also a master bath with
a small walk-in closet, his & her sinks, & a whirlpool
tub beautifully enclosed in a ceramic surround.
     The
upstairs kitchen is large with a Jennaire cook top (2 burners & a
grill). Additionally, there is a double oven (the top is
convection/conventional; the bottom oven is conventional only). There
are some custom cabinets including a beautiful double display shelf
with a plant window. The island is tri-level with outlets every
16 inches on the work level and has a vegatable sink. There is an
adjoining dining room.
The living room has a large cabininet that is not attached; but is negotiable.Â
    There is also a laundry room with a 1/2 bath and a custom-built sink.Â
The floors on the main level are wood & ceramic.Â
   Â
The basement is completely finshed like another home. There is a
family room with patio doors leading to the huge back yard.Â
2 full baths are accessed off of the family room.Â
There is a dining area and a full kitchen which has Maytag appliances (negotiable).Â
   Â
There is also a wood-burning fireplace near the dining area and a small
library with custom built-ins.Â
A second laundry room is on this level, as well.Â
   Â
One of the BR's on this level is big with custom cabinets and
patio doors to the back yard. The other BR's are smaller and
non-conforming.Â
   Â
The BR's & hallway are carpeted. All other floors are ceramic
except the family room which is linoleum. Some of the walls &
ceilings in the lower level are tongue & groove giving it a cabin
feeling. There are many gardens including fruit trees,Â
berries, herbs & flowers.Â
Besides the main home-there is a beezeway which leads to the 2 1/2 car garage.
Below
the main garage there is a work shop. Above it is a large loft
with a private deck. There is a cedar closet under the steps to
the loft. An additional garage is connected to this. A
fourth garage is in the back yard.  A small bridge with a
dry river bed, a pavillion, a shed & a tiny greenhouse also are in
the back.
    Â
We have found it to be very peaceful here. Although John Deere has a 45
speed limit; I only notice it to be very busy when John Deere changes
shifts. This is a wonderful place for older kids and/or extened
family. It's an amazing place to live. Especially if you
love gardening and being outdoors.Â
   Â
Although this house is accessed at $255,000; we are selling it for
$229,900 because of the economy. This is an exceptional price for
this home and all of the custom features. We will not negotiate
much.Â
