The Pocono Mountains region plays host to countless outdoor acivities, making it the perfect location for full time residence or a second vacation home. The woods, rivers, valleys, lakes, and waterfalls offer a beautiful backdrop for skiing, boating, rafting, golfing, swimming, hiking and numerous other outdoor activities. The Poconos Region is made up of Pike, Monroe, Carbon and Wayne Counties, including parts of Northampton, Susquehanna and Lackawanna Counties. These mountains are technically an extension of the Catskills Region, extending them in a south-western direction.
