It has been carefully deconstructed, drawn, inventoried, tagged and residence/conversion drawings have been completed. The building parts have been carefully maintained in dry storage. Fully mature architectural drawings have been created, converting this barn to a residence. The drawings are wonderfully modest and simple and fully retain the barn atmosphere. The ground floor could be used as either a garage with an in-law apartement or 6 horse stalls.
Â
This barn would make a wonderfully unique residence or combination stable/barn manager residence.
The complete barn schematic and architectural drawings are available. There are 51,000 lbs of lumber. It is in dry storage in Honeoye Falls, NY (zip 14472), 20 minutes south of Rochester. Â
Â
Pieces include the original clapboard siding, roof timbers, pegs, everything that could be salvaged. Extra timber was purchased for interior décor. Only flooring was not salvageable. This is a very manageable project.
