Watergate Villas is one of the only Oceanfront Condominiums on St Thomas, and this complex is located in the center of it all on the Caribbean Sea. You can dine right on the property at the famous Mim's Restaurant or a few steps away is Bolongo Bay Beach Club which showcases 2 restaurants and a beach bar. Being steps away from Bolongo Bay Beach Resort also ensures you always have EASY access to water sport rentals anytime ! Watergate Villas is also centrally located on the island so it is a short drive into town for shopping, to the East End of the island for more night life or to catch the ferry to St John for the day. The island of St Thomas is approximately 13 miles long and 5 miles wide so it is easy to navigate by land.Byboat (or ferry), St Johnis only 15 minutes away, the British Virgin Islands (Tortola and Virgin Gorda)is only 30-45 minutes away. By air, St Thomas has plenty of commerical flights in and out, Puerto Rico is a 20 minute flight and NY is less than 4 hours and there are plenty of direct flights !! St Thomas is a U.S. Island and has over 2.5 million tourists a year that visit by cruise and air. I have rented my unit short term as a vacation rental on vrbo.com before I moved to St Thomas, then I lived in it, and it is now rented on a 1 year lease. It has a great rental history and is easily managed from afar. There is a also great Management Staff on the property to assist in maintenance and repairs, if necessary. The appliances and AC are less than 1 year old, the bathroom was fully updated in the summer of 2009 and it is fully furnishedwith linens,stocked kitchen, flat screen TV, wall art etc. just as you see it in the photos.
